Lost: The Complete Series Box Set
Lost is definitely up there with Battlestar Galactica, Six Feet Under, and Arrested Development as one of the very best TV series of the 2010s! As someone who has already seen every single episode of every season of Lost, I’m am still probably going to ordering the entire Lost series on DVD because this is one of those rare shows that will be fun to watch a second time (and there is a lot of great bonus features included with the complete collection box set.)
If you’re new to this mysterious show then I am actually jealous of you to be able to experience it for the first time still. It is really that good. it is the type of TV series that you are likely to remember for the rest of your life.
To get the most out of watching the show you really must buy the complete Lost DVD box set and then avoid all spoilers as much as you can. A great part of the show is having the mysteries revealed slowly in amazingly unexpected ways. Don’t ruin that by looking up spoilers about the show!
Also it is important to watch it from start to finish in order. This is a real “serial” where every single episode leads into the next one. It’s all “one story” instead of a show where every episode has it’s own beginning and end.
I really should warn you that this show is extremely addictive and that if you like it anywhere near as much as I do that you may find yourself watching seven episodes in just one sitting (yes I actually did this once!) It is one of those things where every episode really has you needing to know what happens on the next episode.
I must also really say that this is a people who like to think about things. What’s happening will not always be overly obvious. If you’re looking fors predictable entertainment, you should definitely look elsewhere. You will have to make regular use of your brain when you watch this mystery unfold.
