So you have got the filmmaking talent of Steven Spielberg but the bank account of that homeless guy down the block who always forgets to put on pants — huge problem, right? Not according to 24-year old filmmaker Lena Dunham, who’s been generating a huge stir with her low-budget, critically acclaimed characteristic Tiny Furniture. Shot for just below the value of a mid-sized car, there is nothing mid-sized concerning the response that Dunham has been getting for Tiny Furniture. Not too shabby for a function that Dunham says she wrote in just 5 measly days, no?

I could not stop laughing at the finish of the film. Apartment is supposedly thriller film with no thrills, rather unintentional humor received by way of poor screenplay.

Rest of story involves how Neha tries to maintain Preeti’s boyfriend (played by Rohit Roy) and neighbor away from her as she is insecure that she may loose her.

Tiny Furniture tells the story of a young lady named Aura who returns dwelling to live with her household following college in an try to determine what to do with her life. The character of Aura is an exaggerated version of Lena Dunham herself, who in real life appears to have things fairly nicely figured out.

Dunham not only wrote, directed and starred inside the indie darling, she also filmed most of the scenes in her personal New York apartment. The outcome can be a funny, heartfelt film that has delighted critics and film festival audiences alike.

There is absolutely nothing new in this story and no suspense over unfolding of events throughout the complete movie. Beginning initial half is slow with unnecessary boring scenes and there is no create up to what’s going to come about next.

It’s only after the interval the plot starts to unfold. Every little thing is predictable and shown that way, which is why this film fails. But the way all scenes have been shot gives an impression of an amateurish director who’s just considering completing the project.

No originality whatsoever.
